The food I crave the most when I’m in Korea are salads. For some reason, no place in Korea can seem to produce hearty salads that aren’t just limp excuses of lettuce and tomatoes—or they ruin it with some bizarrely notorious mayo-kiwi dressing. Salads get a bad rap for being “rabbit food,” but Westville’s cobb salad is a filling bowl of romaine and mixed greens, topped generously with grilled chicken, avocado, bacon (not in this one, though) and blue cheese. And thankfully they don’t drown the salad in dressing, but lightly touch it up with a balsamic lemon-dill vinaigrette. Just the right light meal in this blisteringly hot weather in NYC right now.
